| NOSE | The nose is vibrant with red and black berry fruits, figs coated in milk chocolate with hints of marzipan and walnuts coated in toffee sauce. |
| PALATE | Luscious fruit flavours such as ripe figs, Medjool dates, apricots and deeper fruit notes like raisin and sultanas. Milk chocolate spiced with nutmeg and ginger and yielding sweet chestnut and toasted walnuts in the finale. |
| FINISH | Luxurious and complex wood flavours appear as cinnamon and pipe tobacco envelops the palate with endless subtle spice. |

Long time fan of Wemyss Blended Malts. When I saw the less expensive version of Velvet Fig I thought I would try it. Gorgeous. Ranks with my other favourites, Spice King and Peat Chimney..

Have to say disappointed just how different this is to the original velvet fig Was a huge fan of the original bottling but this just didn’t compare in any way to the velvet fig . Paler in colour and the depth of flavour and richness of the fruit and body of the spirit just lacked in this bottling
