The notes
Nose: There are heavy sweet almond notes in the background giving this cask the unique character which makes it such a fine candidate for a rare single bottling.
Palate: Chocolate covered marzipan, butter scotch and maple syrup. Creamy vanilla custard integrating with sugar covered Belgian waffles. A light presence of spiciness, baking spices such as cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. Freshly peeled almonds ready to be ground for marzipan mixed with icing sugar. Battenberg cake in abundance!
Finish: Rewardingly long and staying true to its patisserie notes – it remains sweet on the finish, a very pleasing dram indeed.
Comes with gift box.
