THE HIVE OLD FASHIONED

INGREDIENTS

  • 60ml of THE HIVE
  • 10ml of sugar syrup
  • 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
  • Orange zest

METHOD

Stir THE HIVE, sugar syrup and bitters over ice in a mixing glass. Pour the Old Fashioned into a rocks glass with fresh ice and garnish with orange zest.

THE HIVE WITH CLOUDY LEMONADE HIGHBALL

INGREDIENTS

  • 50ml of THE HIVE
  • 150ml of cloudy lemonade
  • Lemon wheel

METHOD

Fill a highball glass with ice cubes and pour THE HIVE whisky over the ice. Pour the cloudy lemonade to the top of the glass and garnish with lemon wheel.

SPICE KING OLD FASHIONED

INGREDIENTS

  • 60ml of SPICE KING
  • 10ml of sugar syrup
  • 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
  • Orange zest
  • Slice of fresh ginger

METHOD

Stir SPICE KING, sugar syrup and bitters over ice in a mixing glass. Pour the Old Fashioned into a rocks glass with fresh ice and garnish with orange zest and a slice of fresh ginger.

SPICE KING WITH GINGER ALE HIGHBALL

INGREDIENTS

  • 50ml of SPICE KING
  • 150ml of ginger ale
  • Orange wedge

METHOD

Add ice cubes to a highball glass and pour SPICE KING whisky over the ice. Pour the ginger ale to the top of the glass and garnish with an orange wedge.

PEAT CHIMNEY OLD FASHIONED

INGREDIENTS

  • 60ml of PEAT CHIMNEY
  • 10ml of sugar syrup
  • 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
  • Lemon zest

METHOD

Stir PEAT CHIMNEY, sugar syrup and bitters over ice in a mixing glass. Pour the Old Fashioned into a rocks glass with fresh ice and garnish with lemon zest.

PEAT CHIMNEY AND SODA HIGHBALL

INGREDIENTS

METHOD

Add ice cubes to a highball glass and pour PEAT CHIMNEY whisky over the ice. Pour the soda water to the top of the glass and garnish with fresh mint sprig.

THE NECTAR COBBLER

INGREDIENTS

  • 35ml NECTAR GROVE or NECTAR GROVE BATCH STRENGTH
  • 25ml Plum Liqueur
  • Lemon wedge
  • Orange wedge
  • 1/2 ripe plum
  • 2 all spice berries
  • Glass: Highball
  • Garnish: fresh mint, sliced nectarine and a cinnamon stick

METHOD

Muddle the fruit with the whisky, mix in a cocktail shaker and double strain into a highball glass filled to the top with crushed ice. Swirl the cinnamon stick into the glass and garnish with mint and sliced nectarine.
