Notes

Nose Herbal, minty and smoky with scents of pine forests, minty (humbugs, menthol) and earthy with hints of eucalyptus. Burn rye bread, toasted barley and earthy peat smoke. It becomes more floral with water and a charred wood note develops

Palate An intense wave of sweet peppermint kicks things off similar to Kendal Mint Cake with hints of stone fruits. Creamy white chocolate notes develop and the panel imagined a mint chocolate fondant

Finish Gentle floral notes, smoked fish and a peppery finish. Hazelnut, or a vanilla ice-cream affogato with toasted almond sprinkles. After the first few second’s leathery and fatty notes like pork crackling adds a savoury edge. The whisky is oily and with a mineral texture
